Area Studies: India is a primary source database for the study of Empire, the British Raj, and the history, culture and literature of the Indian subcontinent from 1650-1942. Material types included are rare books, travel writing, newspaper reports, correspondence and diaries, official documents; which are aiding the study of the British Indian Empire.
