RISM Repertoire International des Sources Musicales
RISM Series A/II (Repertoire International des Sources Musicales) contains over 380,000 records of works by more than 18,000 composers from all over the world. These records are based on manuscripts housed at 595 libraries in 31 countries (among others the libraries at Lund University, the Music Library of Sweden and the Royal Library, Stockholm). Each individual manuscript is described in detail with up to 100 categories available. The most important of these are:
- Name of the composer, arranger etc., with biographical dates
- Title of work in normalized form
- Music incipit (opening of musical text in musical notation)
- Diplomatic description of the title
- Source form (score, voice etc.)
- Location of manuscript and shelf mark.
RISM Series A/II (Repertoire International des Sources Musicales) innehåller över 380 000 poster med verk av mer än 18 000 kompositörer från hela världen. Innehållet består av manuskript som finns på 595 bibliotek i 31 länder (bland annat biblioteken vid Lunds universitet, Musik- & teaterbiblioteket och Kungliga biblioteket, Stockholm).
