European Views of the Americas: 1493 to 1750 is a new bibliographic database designed by EBSCO Publishing in cooperation with the John Carter Brown Library at Brown University, USA.
The database has been created from the well-known, six volume print edition of European Americana: A Chronological Guide to Works Printed in Europe Relating to the Americas, 1493-1750 (the Alden-Landis bibliography). It covers the history of European exploration as well as portrayals of Native American peoples. A wide range of subject areas are covered, from natural disasters to disease outbreaks and slavery.
