The database Building Types Online is a resource for the study and practice of architectural design and offers a large international collection of contemporary buildings, from housing and offices to museums, schools and other building types. It focuses on floor plans and sectional drawings in unrivalled quality. A large part of the drawings are vector-based.
Building Types Online är en resurs med fokus på arkitektur och stadsplanering. Databasen innehåller detaljerade ritningar, fotografier och information om olika byggnadstyper och stadsmiljöer. Möjligheterna till avgränsning och ämnessökningar är goda när du söker information kring en specifik byggnadstyp. Här finns exempel på kontorsbyggnader, skolor, industribyggnader, bostäder och mycket annat. Det är också möjligt att söka på begrepp som ”detatched building” och ”row house” och därigenom få fram exempel på sådana byggnader.
