WHOLIS - the WHO library database
The WHO library web site offers world-wide online access to WHOLIS, the World Health library database. In addition, users of the web site can find WHO library reference and referral information, historical resources, and descriptions of country support activities.
The WHO library, located on the ground floor of the World Health Organization building in Geneva, Switzerland, provides library and information services to delegates to the WHO governing bodies, WHO long term and short term staff, WHO consultants, participants in WHO meetings, staff from United Nations missions and inter-governmental agencies. The WHO library is also open to anyone requiring WHO-produced information or specific material from the collections which focus on international public health and development.

På WHO-bibliotekets hemsida ges fri tillgång till Världshälsoorganisationens biblioteksdatabas WHOLIS. På hemsidan finns förutom eget referensmaterial även länkar till andra källor utanför WHO, historiska källor samt beskrivningar på aktiviteter för stöd till länder.
Biblioteket, som ligger i WHO:s byggnad i Geneve i Schweiz, ger biblioteks- och informationsservice till personal anknutna till WHO, FN och mellanstatliga myndigheter. Biblioteket är även öppet för alla som behöver material framställt av WHO eller specifikt material från samlingarna med fokus på internationell folkhälsa och utveckling.
